O.K. There are two weeds I intentionally let grow. All the others I don't want to grow but they do. I always leave one milkweed plant for the monarch butterflies and there is another one I yet to have classified. I can't find anything like it in all my searches. I let it grow but not go to seed. It is about 10 feet tall or was until the leaves got too heavy and it began to droop. The stem which almost looks like a trunk is a maroon color and it blooms little stems of tiny white flowers and eventually by fall the seed pods are awesome. Very redish-purple little beads lining a stem about 6-8 inches long. I keep letting it grow because it is so cool but I also want to figure out what it is. I'll post pictures.

I can't wait to see it. It sounds like a cool plant. You should check to see if you can find a master gardener in your area. They might know what it is.

I've been asking everyone I know and everyone has a different guess. I don't want to bother our Ex. agency because I call them too much. LOL
I took the pictures today and will post them tomorrow. The seed pods are just starting to turn color. If I can figure out what it is, I'll probably not let it grow next year, I guess. I know it must be a weed and I don't want my neighbors to get mad at me in case I miss some seeds.
