I keep a roll of painters tape in my kitchen drawer along side the plastic wrap and tin foil. You'd be surprised how handy it is for labeling plastic containers of food with a date so you know when something is getting old. And the beauty is it peels right off leaving no residue. I also use it to tape frozen foods that are in plastic bags like frozen fish sticks, tater-tots and such. Works great for sealing potato chips and other snacks that come in bags. I just turn a end under itself for a handy dandy tab for easy opening. I also use it to hold boxes of dry goods closed that I don't use often. It's also very handy for taping a note where you are sure someone will see it.
I'm sure there are many more uses in the kitchen for this tape. Love that painters tape!

I've used masking tape and freezer tape for most of that but never thought of freezer tape. Thanks for the idea.
