If you are ever trying to solder a pipe or put together any pipe and you are getting a little drip of water even though the water is shut off a great plumbers trick is to push a piece of bread in the pipe that is dripping. It will absorb the water long enough for you to solder or put the connection together before the bread starts to disintegrate. Turn the water back on and run it will easily flush out anything remaining. Tip from my big brother. TY
