Sounding a familiar clean-energy theme, President Barack Obama on Tuesday announced details of a proposed energy rebate program he hopes will spur demand for insulation and water heaters while creating jobs for hurting Americans. (March 2) Energy is a major piece of the massive $787 billion package, totaling about $38 billion in government spending and about $20 billion in tax incentives over the next 10 years, according to estimates. news.cnet.com/8301-11128_3-10165605-54.htmlSure there are tax incentives but come on. If the money isn't coming from X then it'll have to come from Y. So it benefits one and hurts the other. Does that make sense? Any other time I would say this is a wonderful incentive but not now for pete sakes. In January of 2008 the unemployed was at 5.0 and in January of this year, 2010 the unemployment rate is at something like 9.7. That is 14.8 million people who are not working. So footing this bill are those who are employed and the burden will be huge. www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdfI guess he thinks money grows on trees. I am pulling my hair out watching Obama spend money left and right. Obama! Why don't you get our country back in shape so people are actually working so you aren't trying get blood from turnips. Grrrrr!

There was a photo of Obama's student ID in college that clearly says international student. Its strange how things disappear when they don't show positive for a certain person.
I really don't want to have to point out to people that we were right but, darn it, this time I am going to shout "I told you so" and "you voted for this" beginning very soon. I really thought he would have been voted out.
I do wonder if situations like our soldier's votes getting delayed, lost and dumped in the ocean were truly accidents.
