There was an inground pool already here when we moved in. It is 15x30. I am wanting to create a waterfall that drops into the pool. I know they will have to probably put another hole into the side and run the pool water through a tube or something like that.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on doing this and saving money.
thanks

Lucky you to have a pool! It really doesn't pay to have one here in the midwest since our warm season is so short but I still want one. But anyway, to your question. I know they have do-it-yourself kits you can buy and these you don't need to do any hole making in the pool. I'm not sure if these, in the link I'm posting below, are those kind. www.bizrate.com/swimming-pools-jacuzzis/swimming-pool-waterfall-kits/I would recommend searching the internet and maybe visiting a place that sells pools, jacuzzi's and the like to get an idea what all you have to do. It is getting late and I need to get to bed but I'm hoping someone else may pop in and see your question and have more help for you. I'll be busy tomorrow but I may do some research on the topic. Although I don't plan to have a waterfall that goes into a swimming pool I am interested in a front yard waterfall the falls into kind of a mini-pool that comes down my tall hill so I need to know these things.

This does help some. I will have to do some research on it. Thanks.

I wish I could be of more help and I wish someone would have popped in to give you more tips. I just know very little about waterfalls into swimming pools and haven't really had a chance to do more research.

Oh, you're fine. It's going to be a little while before we do a waterfall
