This idea came from my Mom. If you have given to any charity you know they often send you address labels. In fact, if you are like most of us, you have enough address labels to last a life time. What to do with them? Well my Mom has several books she reads so often, like her study bible, where the page corners have become frayed and fragile. You guessed it, I found her one day cutting off the address part and saving the pretty picture that those labels often come with. She then uses them on the corners of her pages giving them a bit of reinforcement. You don't have to cut off the address part. I mean, who cares if you have your address on a book only you tend to read.
This trick would also come in handy if you have a favorite passage and want a permanent bookmark.
Thanks Mom, I love any recycling idea!
