Ok, so I've been deep cleaning everything for Christmas. Did you ever notice that if you clean one thing, you immediately see 10 other things that need scrubbed? My kitchen ceiling fan needed cleaned, which then made me see how dirty the ceiling was, which then made me notice how the walls needed cleaned, which then made me notice the streaks on the back door, which led to me noticing the floor needed more than a mopping...the list goes on & on...tomorrow's project is repapering the inside of the cabinets. Maybe I'll be done in time for Christmas! LOL

Oh yeah, I noticed the same thing. Funny how going about your day-to-day stuff you really don't notice some of the things but once you start cleaning it all comes to light. Like I'll see this gigantic cob web and I'll think..."How did I not notice this?". lol
I should be starting some deep cleaning myself.

Here's my worst trick: I'm near sighted so I usually wear my glasses when I go out but I take them off as soon as I come home. The house I think looks cleaner to me than it really is because I can't see all the cobwebs & dust! When I really want to clean, I wear my glasses so I can see all the dirt better!

That's a great trick for those who normally wear glasses. Take them off and whella! ....your house is clean. I think that is my problem too. I can't see far away so it is only when I'm close up that I notice things like massive spider webs or smudges on the fridge, etc. So probably everthing about 4 foot away is spotless.
