Obama when visiting Brazil:
“the oil you recently discovered off [your] shores … could amount to twice the reserves we have in the United States. … [W]e want to be one of your best customers.”

Huh?
And....
“The American people aren't stupid,” said Obama (Feb. 23), mocking “Drill, baby, drill.” The “only solution,” he averred in yet another major energy speech last week, is that “we start using less, that lowers the demand, prices come down.” Yet five paragraphs later he claimed that regardless of “how much oil we produce at home ... that's not going to set the price of gas worldwide.”

What?
And...

From Obama's web site:
"Under President Obama, American oil production is at an eight-year high, and we are less reliant on foreign oil than at any time in the last 16 years."

How can the oil production, which reached a 8 year high, be thanks to Obama or "Under Obama", when he has only been in office 3 or those years?
And besides....
"Obama boasts that on his watch production is up and imports down. True, but truly deceptive. These increases have occurred in spite of his restrictive policies. They are the result of Clinton- and Bush-era permitting. This has been accompanied by a gold rush of natural gas production resulting from new fracking technology that has nothing to do with Obama."

I know this is true. The technology has chagned where oil companies showed little interest in the land (mineral rights) my siblings and I have in Wyoming (Converse county.) however in the last few years are showing an interest because they have new ways to extract that oil from the rock. There has been a big boom going on in Converse county, Wyo for the last 6 or so years, as well as in Kansas.
I just love how Obama takes credit for things that are utterly impossible for him to take credit for. Oh how he loves to twist things to make him look good. Makes me want to throw up.
“Oil and gas shales are redefining the future of the oil and gas industry in the U.S.,” said Jeff Schwartz, manager of Noble’s Rocky Mountain Business Unit. “This shale has huge potential for Wyoming.”

This has been brought to you, by me, because I'm doing my homework, trying to decide who should be the next president. I can promise you it won't be Obama, if I have my way.
