Same here. Those are gorgeous! Can you imagine doing that to a patio or in a sunroom where you don't really want carpeting? Cool!
I've seen some really cool countertops and sinks made from poured concrete also. I'd seriously consider using concrete in any new project.

One of these days I'd like to do a practice one in my storage room. But I have too many things on my list that it may never come to be.
Had I know this I may not have bought ceramic tile for my other basement rooms.
But....it does sound like a lot of work and maybe even expense.

I would like to have my basement floor stained like some of those pictured on the website you mentioned. I wonder how much it would cost to have someone do that kind of work. Does anyone have an idea?

I don't know but I have a feeling it isn't cheap. I glimpsed over the instructions and they sand blast then lay a stencile and stain then sand blast again or something like that. I'm sure they have several stenciles and several different stains they use.
