It is that time of the year when we start burning wood in our fireplaces or stove inserts. Of all the stove glass cleaning products out there I found that what the manufactures of the stove suggested works best and it is free. Get a damp paper towel and dip in the ashes. Use this to scrub off the deposits on the glass. Use a clean paper towel to wipe clean. Follow up with a bit of window cleaner and you have clean glass every time!

Any idea what works on your oven glass? I hate cleaning that.

Unless you have a self cleaning oven I think your only options are using a lot of elbow grease and a good chemical cleaner and leaving it on the recommended time. I wish I did have an easy trick.
