You tell your dad, "a true craftsman at work"!!
p.s. great work on the 'offset' for, i believe, the floor heater.

Sorry, you know I neglect this site so am a slow responding.
But WOW! That is awesome. What a great gift for Shannon. This will be something she will probaby have for the rest of her life as I can tell he is a perfectionist and that is quality work that will last forever or nearly forever.
Your Dad would cringe if he saw how I built my kitchen corner shelves and my kitchen nook benches/storage bins and table. I'm sure I did nothing by the book and I've already learned of some mistakes I made. I'd give anything to have someone like your Dad teach me how to work with wood properly. My secret dream has been to be an "apprentice" for some great furniture maker.
You can tell your Dad that I give him the biggest thumbs up ever. I would soooo love to have bookshelves like that.
Oh, and I almost forgot. Your Dad would be sooo welcome here. But I hope you warned him this is kind of a dead site.

He said thanks for the compliments. He came here with the link I sent him, but he said he had no idea what to do once he got here. I don't think he's ever been to a forum before. Facebook, google, & email are about all he does online.
